Today is a very big day. I mailed our Dossier today. It took almost 2 months to finish it. I just knew when I left the post office, our world was about to change and become very exciting. It is so exciting to know that you may be born this month. I spent all lunch praying for you. His timing is perfect....don't ever forget that!

Dear Claire,
At 10:30, Daddy and I set forth to Cleveland. Our appointment was at 2:00, we had plenty of time....2 hours later, we were a little lost from the trail. We were starting to worry that we would miss our appointment. We looked around and we saw a sign for Route 51, which took us right where we needed to go. Route 51 was nowhere on the map. We decided that God had made that road right then and we made it to Cleveland just in time. While looking for a parking spot, we looked up and saw a sign....it said "St. Claire".

Grandma Zerbe gave me the names of 2 families that brought their babies home from Guatemala. Maybe we will meet them someday. Aunt Tara sat beside a special family on her plane ride home. They had 2 sons they brought home 5 years ago. They told Aunt Tara how much they loved those boys. God is bringing people into our lives who are helping us to understand how love is created in different ways.

Dear Claire,
This morning at church, Pastor Dan spoke about remembering the Sabbath and keeping it holy. He explained that it isn't just about one day but an attitude - being able to rest knowing that God is being God.
There was a verse that came to my heart. John 14:27 - ...may peace I give you...
I needed to hear those words and be reminded that God has this all planned out.

Today was a very good day! Some very important things happened this week. That means we are getting a little closer to you coming home. There are so many people who are excited to meet you: Grandma & Grandpa Zerbe, Grandma & Grandpa Buetner, Uncle Bradley & Aunt Brittany, Uncle Josh & Aunt Joy, and Aunt Tara. Even friends and strangers are wanting to meet you. You are already very loved!

We sent in our application today. It is starting to become a little more real to us. We are already loving you and praying for you and worrying that you would be born so far away from us and that we won't be able to wait. We know that God loves you more than we do and that He will be watching you until we can. You have no idea how long we have waited for you, and how we long to bring you into our family.

Today we went to Columbus to learn about adoption. I have to admit, I was a little nervous. That was when me met Grace. She melted our hearts and all of our worries. As I sat there, I started imagining meeting you for the first time and bringing you home. Today is the day your daddy and I fell in love with you.
